Khloe Joann Forbush

My beautiful niece Khloe came into the world on August 19th, 2010 at 10:58 am. She was 7 lbs 7 oz and 19.5 inches long. The poor thing hurt her tear duct and has a bruise on her eye. She's so beautiful and I just adore her. I want to be holding her right this minute.

Brooklyn loved holding her and it made her more excited for us to have our baby.
Braden was a little nervous but he held her for a few minutes and said she was pretty cute.

I am so glad that Kari and Kyle got this beautiful bundle of joy to add to their family. She is so loved and has the greatest family. I am going to have to go see her tomorrow because I can't stay away for much longer. LOL. I fed and snuggled her yesterday and I was in heaven. I just adore this new baby girl!

Why Hello!

So, once again, I forgot I have a blog. I really need to do this and it's been wayyyyyy too long since I've blogged. I'm 31 weeks pregnant. I'm having a boy and I think he'll be names Braxton Christopher Hansen. Brook was pretty disappointed it wasn't a girl but she said "she'd still love it." LOL! Braden is excited to have a little brother. It really hasn't hit me that I'll have a third child. I'm sure it will when he is born. I have only gained about 4 lbs with this pregnancy and my body has even lost weight. Every pregnancy is so different. I gained 65 lbs with Braden and 24 with Brooklyn. Of course my back hurt with the others and I had pregnancy woes, but this pregnancy has been really hard on my body. Go figure. The doctor said it's just the way my uterus is sitting. It's on the veins in my right leg and I've gotten varicose veins in that leg. They hurt!! I had no idea they could hurt. So I've had sleeping problems because I've gotten restless legs and have to take ambien to sleep every night. I didn't for one night and I was up til 5:00am trying to sleep. The restless legs should go away when the varicose veins go down. I hate admitting this part, but I'm only human so here goes. About 3-4 weeks ago I got really depressed and anxious. The doctor said it's hormones and I shouldn't feel embarassed. He put me on Prozac. I'm ok with it now and realize it's not my fault. It's been about 3 weeks and I'm feeling a lot better now. Then, about a little over a week ago, I developed a blood clot in my right leg. It hurt and I've had to keep it elevated and put heat on it. I've also had to start wearing my sexy (LOL) compression stockings every single day. They suck!! LOL. I can tell a difference when I don't wear them so I'm being a good girl. My ward has been great and brought us meals last weekend. It was sooooo helpful! My wonderful mom came out and cleaned my bathrooms and mopped my floors. She calls or texts me all the time too. I've really greatful for my family and friends. My hubby has also pitched in around the house more lately too. All in all, I'm learning how to ask for help when I need it. I think I really needed to learn that, instead of always trying to do things myself. I get very disorganized with life and then I end up procrastinating things, which makes me chaos. I am learning though. This blogging stuff is kinda theraputic. It's like talking to someone without them talking back. Getting all your feelings and thoughts out. Maybe I could do this more. LOL. Anyway, time for bed before I fall over. I have a new niece to blog about tomorrow. She's beautiful and I adore her so much! Night!

Oh Baby!!

So this picture is sideways and I'm too tired to figure out how to get it the right way. You'll have to turn your heads. LOL. I am seriously bad at this blogging thing. I need to get better. Anyway, onto my post...

I'M PREGNANT!! 24 weeks along with a beautiful healthy baby boy. Brooklyn is happy to be a big sister. She was very upset that it wasn't a girl and cried. She went to my ultrasound with me and I told her inside. She just kinda looked at me and ignored me. When we got out to the car, she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said she was sad. I asked her why and she said she wanted a sister. It broke my heart. I promised her we'd try for another baby so maybe she'd have a sister.

Braden is so excited to have a brother. He will be 10 on July 7th so they'll be very far apart. Maybe Braden will let this baby tag along like I did with my baby sister Emilee. We're 10 years apart too. Braden said he is excited to teach him how to do boy things like baseball and skateboarding.

I had my big ultrasound yesterday. They check all the organs and make sure everything is growing properly. She said he looks excellent. A mother is always worried that something might be wrong so it's reassuring to know it's ok. I was able to see him in 4D. That's amazing!! He had his hand up by his face and he'd wiggle to get away from the ultrasound wand thingy (don't know what it's called LOL). There was one kick that hurt bad! The picture from above was taken last week. Here's one from yesterday

The kicking and punching is my favorite thing. At this stage, babies aren't that squished and they're big enough that we can feel the movements. It's my favorite cuz they move so much. I was laying in bed last night tapping my stomach. He'd punch or kick me in that spot. I love it so much!!

Halloween 2009

I know it's February already, but better late than never. I spent the night before Halloween going to Riverdale Walmart to search for Braden's costume. He would not decide earlier. The options the night before Halloween were not many. He chose to be Storm Shadow (I think that's the name) from the new GI Joe movie. I bought Brook's witch costume quite a bit earlier. Both of my kids looked cute as can be.

I went to a Halloween party at Jeff and Julie's house. It was a blast! My Daddy had the greatest costume ever!

Happy Birthday Robert!

So my hubby turned 31 yesterday. Whoa! He's old! LOL! Okay, he's not that old. Happy birthday to a wonderful man, husband, and father. I guess he's a son, son-in-law, brother, uncle, grandson, and sometimes a few choice words when I'm mad at him. LOL! We went to Costa Vida for dinner and then to see the movie Couple's Retreat. It was friggen hilarious! Thanks to Stacy and Kirk for watching the kids for us. After we got home, we sat in bed watching Everybody Loves Raymond. Ray had a gingerale in his hand. Robert turned to me and mentioned how good gingerale would be. I agreed. He then mentioned how he was a bit hungry, and how good a hoagie on soft hoagie buns from Walmart would be. So being the good wife I am, I made a trip to Walmart at like 11:30 last night. It was past midnight when I got home so I did not make the hoagie. He was not the birthday boy anymore, and I was tired. LOL. It was a good day. I love you Robert!

Okay I suck at this!

I totally forgot I had a blog until Kari reminded me. I really should be better at this. I'll admit that I suck at it right now. We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday. It was a blast! It's our favorite patch by far and we go there every year. It's called Black Island Farms Harvest Festival or something like that. We went on a wagon ride out into the patch to pick our own pumpkins. Brook wanted this teeny green one so the wagon driver let her get a big one too. She's a twerp! Braden was excited to have his face painted. He looked pretty cool!We did the "Edward" corn maze and didn't get too lost. We almost lost Kari when she decided she'd intercept the kids to scare them. She hit a dead end and I backtracked to get her. LOL! We did all the slides and rides and looked at the animals.
We took the kids back to Kari's to scrapbook since the men were at the General Conference Priesthood Session. We ate pizza and let the kids run wild. It sure wore them out. Brook fell asleep on Kari's couch. I have no clue how she can sleep like this but she did.

Gone Too Long

Aint my girl pretty?!?!

I totally forgot I had a blog. I need to update this better. I've done too much in the past few months to remember. My 10-year class reunion was yesterday but I had to miss it cuz I was a bridesmaid for a good friend. I really wanted to go, believe it or not.

Tiny Dancer

We went to Paige's dance recital on Thursday, Dec. 4th. We were all afraid she would see everyone and just freeze. You could tell she was a little nervous but she did so good. She's such a sweetheart and I just love her! I teared up a little when she was performing. She's so cute! Her studio did a Grinch theme. Paige was one of the trees. Kacy did her hair and put empty toilet paper rolls in it. All night, Brook kept telling me she didn't want me to put toilet paper in her hair. lol. Brook was so excited to see Paige's "re-dance-cital." She talked about all Wednesday and Thursday. I love the smile that Kyle is giving Paige. A daddy proud of his baby girl.

This picture cracks me up. They were supposed to grab hands for a part in their dance and Paige was looking at the girls hand like she wasn't quite sure she wanted to hold it. I was busting up!!

Paige and the proud mommy. What a fun night! Here's a short video clip from my camera.

The Make-Up Disaster

I was busy getting myself ready to go to Wiseguys with some friends when Brook wandered in to the bathroom. She looked like a bad tanning bed accident. It even looked like she was all sweaty cuz she had wet hair in the front. lol. She wasn't crying or anything at first. I noticed she had bright red on the front of her shirt and realized it was red lipstick. She had been in the other bathroom and when I checked in there, there were wet peices of tissue covered in lipstick all over the counter. She had tried to hide her "oops" by "washing" it off. I really think that she thought there was nothing wrong when she came in to see me. I grabbed the camera cuz I knew I'd laugh later. The reason she was crying was because she didn't want me to take a picture of her. I was laughing and trying to get her to look at me and not wipe her face on my towels and she was just bawling. It was quite funny. I had to hurry and get her cleaned up because we were supposed to meet everyone for dinner first. Needless to say, I am making sure to leave my Halloween make-up in a better spot. Gotta love that girl!

Weekend Fun

We went out with friends on Saturday. It was a blast! The people that were there were: Katie & Eric Larmore, Stacey & JC Henderson, Kari & Kyle Forbush, Brandon & Shasta Moses, Becky & Neil Layton, Erin & Keith Howick, and Dean & Audrey (don't know last names, Kyle's friends). We ate at Texas Roadhouse and then went to Wiseguys comedy club to see Marcus. He was pretty funny and we had an awesome time. I talked Rob into buying his video afterwards. Marcus autographed it for me and took a picture with me. We had alot of fun. It was really good to hang out with my high school girls and their hubbies. Good times!

My Monsters

Here's my little fairy and my rock star. Halloween was pretty busy this year. We went to my Daddy's work Halloween Party. It was amazing! They put alot of work into it. I'll edit this blog again when I have pics of it on my computer. After the party, we went trick-or-treating. We usually go with a few close neighbors but this year just us four went. It was nice and mellow. The kids were pretty tough and they kept on going. It started to sprinkle so we went home. My little monsters are wonderful!!

Halloween Party

So me and my friend Stacey planned a Halloween Party. K she planned most of it but I helped. It was at Stacey's house and she decorated the whole thing pretty darned good. It even had a fog machine. I have more pics but I'll put them on later. I only have a few on the computer and I'm too lazy to go find my other camera. :) Anyway, we played some fun games and ate snacks. Did I mention there were no kids? There were 7 couples. 4 of us couples are going on a cruise together in March so we all get along really good. Argh!!! Stacey be my wench! And a good wench she be. I was a geisha but you can't see my whole costume from the picture.

Pumpkin Patch

We had fun at the Black Island Farms Pumpkin Patch. We go there every year cuz it's the best one around. At least we think so. I'm not wordy today so there ya go.
