Tiny Dancer

We went to Paige's dance recital on Thursday, Dec. 4th. We were all afraid she would see everyone and just freeze. You could tell she was a little nervous but she did so good. She's such a sweetheart and I just love her! I teared up a little when she was performing. She's so cute! Her studio did a Grinch theme. Paige was one of the trees. Kacy did her hair and put empty toilet paper rolls in it. All night, Brook kept telling me she didn't want me to put toilet paper in her hair. lol. Brook was so excited to see Paige's "re-dance-cital." She talked about all Wednesday and Thursday. I love the smile that Kyle is giving Paige. A daddy proud of his baby girl.

This picture cracks me up. They were supposed to grab hands for a part in their dance and Paige was looking at the girls hand like she wasn't quite sure she wanted to hold it. I was busting up!!

Paige and the proud mommy. What a fun night! Here's a short video clip from my camera.

The Make-Up Disaster

I was busy getting myself ready to go to Wiseguys with some friends when Brook wandered in to the bathroom. She looked like a bad tanning bed accident. It even looked like she was all sweaty cuz she had wet hair in the front. lol. She wasn't crying or anything at first. I noticed she had bright red on the front of her shirt and realized it was red lipstick. She had been in the other bathroom and when I checked in there, there were wet peices of tissue covered in lipstick all over the counter. She had tried to hide her "oops" by "washing" it off. I really think that she thought there was nothing wrong when she came in to see me. I grabbed the camera cuz I knew I'd laugh later. The reason she was crying was because she didn't want me to take a picture of her. I was laughing and trying to get her to look at me and not wipe her face on my towels and she was just bawling. It was quite funny. I had to hurry and get her cleaned up because we were supposed to meet everyone for dinner first. Needless to say, I am making sure to leave my Halloween make-up in a better spot. Gotta love that girl!

Weekend Fun

We went out with friends on Saturday. It was a blast! The people that were there were: Katie & Eric Larmore, Stacey & JC Henderson, Kari & Kyle Forbush, Brandon & Shasta Moses, Becky & Neil Layton, Erin & Keith Howick, and Dean & Audrey (don't know last names, Kyle's friends). We ate at Texas Roadhouse and then went to Wiseguys comedy club to see Marcus. He was pretty funny and we had an awesome time. I talked Rob into buying his video afterwards. Marcus autographed it for me and took a picture with me. We had alot of fun. It was really good to hang out with my high school girls and their hubbies. Good times!

My Monsters

Here's my little fairy and my rock star. Halloween was pretty busy this year. We went to my Daddy's work Halloween Party. It was amazing! They put alot of work into it. I'll edit this blog again when I have pics of it on my computer. After the party, we went trick-or-treating. We usually go with a few close neighbors but this year just us four went. It was nice and mellow. The kids were pretty tough and they kept on going. It started to sprinkle so we went home. My little monsters are wonderful!!

Halloween Party

So me and my friend Stacey planned a Halloween Party. K she planned most of it but I helped. It was at Stacey's house and she decorated the whole thing pretty darned good. It even had a fog machine. I have more pics but I'll put them on later. I only have a few on the computer and I'm too lazy to go find my other camera. :) Anyway, we played some fun games and ate snacks. Did I mention there were no kids? There were 7 couples. 4 of us couples are going on a cruise together in March so we all get along really good. Argh!!! Stacey be my wench! And a good wench she be. I was a geisha but you can't see my whole costume from the picture.

Pumpkin Patch

We had fun at the Black Island Farms Pumpkin Patch. We go there every year cuz it's the best one around. At least we think so. I'm not wordy today so there ya go.

I'm Back!!

My computer had some spyware/adware crap that messed up my whole computer. We finally got it off and I'm way behind in blogging because of that and the election season. I get really into politics. I've got plenty of blog material on that later. Not at 11:30 at night though. First and foremost, I'm been meaning to post a couple of pics of my girlfriends when we went out for girl's night a few months ago. Katie Anderson Larmore and Stacey Gardner Henderson are the two lovelies in these photos. We made Stacey try on this awesome red dress and as outdated as the thing was, she looks fabulous in it. Katie bought that jacket and I would have bought it except I'm a little heavier than what the jacket allowed. LOL. She rocked it out though. I'm still jealous I didn't get a jacket though. I love these two girls and we had a blast that night.

My Little Boy's Pockets

I absolutely love my little boy! I don't know how he thinks of the things he does, but his mind is ever-moving. From making "Christmas lights" out of empty 2-liter bottles strung together by his t-ball string, to "surfing" down the neighbors slide on extra vinyl fencing. That kid doesn't stop. His best friend is Carson Amidan. The two are inseparable and are basically the same person. They want the same clothes and toys. They talk the same. We call them the Twins. Carson's mom, Stacey, is one of my best friends, and Robert is good friends with Carson's dad, Kirk. It works out great. Stacey and I just know to expect the unexpected with those two boys. Anyway, I'm rambling, as usual. So the whole point of this is to tell about Braden's pockets and I will do that now. When doing laundry, I empty tons of pockets. I sometimes cringe when I empty Braden's because I really never know what's in there. I've seen used band-aids, rocks, toys, and chewed candy, to name a few. He cracks me up. So here's the stuff that came out of Braden's pocket today. It was so funny because he was dead serious when he pulled all this stuff out. I started laughing and he looked at me like "what mom." I asked him if it was all from one pocket and he said yes. One pocket had all that stuff. What an awesome kid I have! I love him!

Family Night

Robert and I took the kids to Fat Cats for a family night in September. We went bowling and played a ton of arcade games. The kids looked so cute in their bowling shoes! The week before, we took the kids mini-golfing to Toads Fun Zone. Both times, we all had a blast. I love watching my kids have fun. Here's some pics.

Aren't those the cutest darned kids ever!! Yes, the big one in the middle is a kid too.

Brookie's First Day of Preschool

Brook started preschool on September 3rd. She goes to Rainbow Preschool and her teacher's name is Miss Melba (awesome name huh). She was way excited to go to school like her big brother. I had to sneak away from Braden's preschool for the first week and even left him crying for the first 2 days. Brook is a different story. I teared up a little cuz she's so independent sometimes. I need my baby girl to need her mommy. I'm a baby. Anyway, I took Braden to school for his first day but I forgot my camera. I was mad. He does like his teacher though, so that's good. I love my kids!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful Disaster

Do you know the song by 3-11 that's called Beautiful Disaster? Well, the title fits my daughter beautifully. She is the biggest girly-girl you'll ever meet, but has to do whatever you don't want her to do, at the same time. Like riding Batman scooters, into puddles of water, while wearing her Sleeping Beauty dress. I had a woman from our ward come up to me one Sunday and say, "When I saw a little fairy with wings, wearing cowboy boots, it made my day." That's my baby! She has me wrapped so tight around her finger, I don't know if I'll ever get loose. Robert too! The pics above are of her pouting because I called her in for dinner. "Oh heaven forbid we have to eat! Can't we just play into the wee hours of the morning? I'm so picked on!!" That's my little drama queen. I had to snap pics of her dissolving into tears over it. I'm such a bad Mom to make my kids eat. LOL.

Life is so hard when you're a Princess!!!

Wave Running

We went to Pineview on a Saturday in August. Can't remember the date. I love the picture of Kari and I with our heads together. I love my sisser! Don't worry Emi, I love my other little sisser too! We had so much fun on the wave runners. Robert and I would like to get a couple. The kids love wave running. Okay, this big kid loves it too. Isn't the picture of Paige with her muddy hands cute?!?! She's such a little spitfire. I love talking to her on the phone and everything about her. Brook and her love each other. And speaking of Brook, isn't she so darned beautiful?!?! I love this picture of her.

My Big Little Boy

Braden is in Cub Scouts now and he loves it. At first he didn't think he'd like it but after the first few times, he was excited about going. My baby is sooooo big. He still kisses and hugs his Mommy. I told him that he can't ever stop doing that. I don't embarrass him in public though. Well, not all the time.

Dust and Dirt

Can't remember which weekend in August we went 4-wheelin, but it was fun! We went to Mantaway, by Brigham, with the Holkers. I'm kind of a big wuss so some of the bigger dips made me nervous. I don't like to have less than 4 wheels off the ground. The trails were pretty rocky too. It was really fun though! We ate lunch in a clearing, under a tree, with a herd of cows wanting our spot. I'm serious! They were like staring at us the whole time. Brook is so funny! She watched Amber go into the trees with some toilet paper and said she wanted to go potty. I took her into a little area and explained things and she wasn't having it. She said she wanted to go potty in the bathroom, where Amber went. I tried to explain and told her I'd help her and it was just fine. She decided that she didn't need to go potty anymore. LOL! We were covered in dust. I think I used 4 wet wipes just to get the dust off my own face. We all had baths and then were lazy the rest of the day. When we woke up the next day, Robert and I were so sore. We popped ibuprofen and traded the hot pad back and forth. All in all, we had a blast!
